Graduated as a family physician from South Africa. Worked as a family physician in Northern Alberta. Completed psychiatric residency at the University of Alberta. Obtained a fellowship in psychiatry and masters in psychiatry. Worked as an acute inpatient psychiatrist and consulting psychiatrist for the chronic pain clinic at the University of Alberta. Relocated to British Columbia in 2016 and currently working as an acute inpatient psychiatrist at Surrey Memorial Hospital. Also involved with the tertiary program for the persistently mentally ill. Consultant psychiatrist for the Chronic Pain Management clinic at the Jim Pattison Outpatient Clinic in Surrey.
