APPIC will be hosting its upcoming Annual Medical Conference in Canmore, Alberta, in September 2026.

This conference will bring together physicians, healthcare professionals, academics, and trainees from across Canada and beyond for a dynamic program focused on clinical excellence, medical education, research, and collaboration. Attendees can expect engaging keynote lectures, expert panel discussions, and opportunities for networking and professional development.

What we stand for

To provide professionally safe, inclusive, and mutually respected professional and social environment both at work and in the community, promoting equality and safety for physicians of Pakistani descent in Canada.

The association shall maintain recognition as a professional, transparent, non-political and non-charitable unifying body that promotes equality and excellence in professional, educational and research innovation for healthcare in Canada.

Choose your plan

Full Physician & Dentist Members

Practicing or non-practicing physicians of Pakistani origin, who graduated from a Pakistani, Canadian or any other medical institution in the world are eligible for membership. Full members are required to pay annual membership dues, unless stated differently by the APPIC executive board.

Allied Health Care Members

Allied health care professionals of Pakistani descent that graduated from a Canadian medical institution or anywhere in the world. Allied health care members are required to pay a reduced membership fee. Members in this category are not eligible to vote and hold office in APPIC.

Medical Students & Non Practicing IMGs

Canadian medical students & in-training medical graduates of Pakistani origin, from a recognized medical institution in the world, are eligible for membership. This membership category is free. Members in this category are not eligible to vote and hold office in APPIC.
